We are looking for a large white. However the first to bloom was a green with a large white component to its dorsal. We’ll keep you posted. not a huge number from this cross, unfortunately.

We keep being intrigued by the potential for green bulldogs. Here is out latest effort.
Big yellows and some smaller greens
Misty Rose is autumnal and we have added Hellas to that.
We love using Hellas as a parent, it provides a wonderful palate to work with. The results are most often autumnal shades.
This really is a green bulldog
Green Lake was a lake in an old cinder cone that was wiped out by the Fissure Eight flows in the 2018 eruption on island. We have fond memories.

Continuing our work toward green bulldog, a lot are yellow but there are a few attractive greens
A large yellow bulldog with a medium sized green. flowers tend to follow one of the parents so we have both yellow and green.
We took two green flowers. Most of the offspring are green but with a few tending more to the dominant gene and are showing yellow.
We found the pod parent in the hands of Yoko Fisher (Jerry’s wife) having her photograph taken with it so she could show the size in comparison with her face. The flower is huge and we put it with our green Tomatillo. We ae seeing some intriguingly large greens and yellows.
Another in our Greek underworld theme we crossed the delightful Hellas which is just like having a new canvas to work with with our very green Emerald Lake, great autumnal shades.
Just a little influence from fairieanum adds a lot of character to the form this flower. This is a cross made by our late friend Sandra Song
Hellas just is a lovely flower to work with. It is bringing lovely autumnal shades to a classic yellow bulldog.
