We crossed a full size sesquipedale with a miniature sesquipedale var. bosseri whose flowers are just as big as the full sized plant. These have grown fast for us, flowering 2 1/2 years out of flask and the plants have favored the growth habit of var. bosseri and have stayed small. The speed of flowering and the smaller shipping size let us sell these at a lower price than the full size sesquipedale. We saw the first bloom in late January. The flower is huge, bigger than some of the full size sesquipedale blooms around here. The plant is 9″ tall and about 15″ accross
